It was founded 1991 and the aim of the AEKH is to provide education and training on a high level based on the original concept and teachings of Samuel Hahnemann. They offer a 3 years training program in Homeopathy, after which a diploma is given.
At the Medical University Vienna, an "Outpatients Unit for malignant Diseases" has been established. There, patients from the Cancer Clinic can be treated homeopathically. Prof. Michael Frass is running this Unit. Furthermore, the "Institute for Homeopathic Research" has been founded by Prof. Frass in order to support homeopathic research.
SIH-Students Initiative Homoeopathy in Vienna
This initiative supports profound training already during medical studies at the University. They inform about news, seminars, education issues and working groups in Austria. Medical doctors as well as students join the seminars , they can validate 200 hours of their formation for the homeopathic diploma in Austria. The referents are well known all over the world and teach classical homeopathy, all of them.

BANGLADESH
In Bangladesh, Homeopathy is officially recognized and is very popular. There exist two graduate Homoeopathic medical colleges (BHMS) under the leading public university (University of Dhaka) and 42 undergraduate Homoeopathic medical colleges (course name: DHMS) under ''Bangladesh Homoeopathic Medical Board'' of Govt. of Bangladesh.
Homeopathy is one of 4 complementary methods legally recognized in Belgium. An approved education in homeopathy is required for practising. Both medical doctors and lay pratctitioners may practise homeopathy.
The Belgium National Homeopathic Union is the Belgian homeopathic M.D.'s list and is a recognised professional union that has for object to group some physicians, veterinary and dentists who admit as primer criteria for their Homeopathic practice the law of similar, definite by Hippocrate and formulated by Hahnemann ": Similia Similibus Curentur "

In this center, doctors can go through a three-year clinical training program (full-time-training) in Classical Homeopathy.
This 3-years full-time-training is unique in Europe. It is only accessible for doctors, who want to specialize themselves in Classical Homeopathy.
In Brazil, homeopathy is integrated in the national health care system. Since 1991, physicians, who want to practise homeopathy, must participate in a training including 2.300 hours of education prior to receiving their license.

In Canada, the practice of homeopathic medicine is provincial jurisdiction while the regulation of homeopathic medicines is federal jurisdiction. 2007, the province of Ontario passed the Homeopathy Act to regulate the practice of homeopathy.
The Homeopathic Medical Council of Canada (HMCC) is the national organization for registered homeopathic doctors. They provide a minimum 3-years University training and in addition, a 4-years attendance at a recognized homeopathic institute is required before registration.

In Germany, only medical doctors and lay practitioners may practise homeopathy. Either a medical University degree or the successfully passed exam as "Heilpraktiker" is required. Midwifes may practice homeopathy in special situations such as during labor or while accompanying pregnancy.
Homeopathic training for doctors takes several years and is certified by the regional official Health System (regionale Aerztekammer). More than 5800 medical doctors have undergone this training and are allowed to work as a homeopathic doctor in Germany (Die ZEIT, 12/2010), as well as more than 200 veterinarian doctors, and more than 50% of the patients use homeopathic remedies (Allensbach- research, 2009). In Iran, only medical doctors can practise homeopathy. The Ministry of Health recognizes Homeopathy as a legal alternative treatment. In Lichtenstein, medical doctors and lay practitioners may practise homeopathy. A law for complementary therapies was introduced in 2008. Lay practitioners must register legally and have to approve that they have completed undergraduate education from any country. They MUST speak German. The title Lay practitioner is legally protected.
In Lithuania, only medical doctors and dentists may practise homeopathy. Medical doctors must obtain a certificate of training or a licence to practise homeopathy. Doctors, who are specialized in another field may obtain an additional license for homeopathy by completing postgraduate training of at least 216 hours University studies, completed by the University diploma.

In Mexico, homeopathy is currently integrated into the national health care system. in 1985, regulations specifying training reqirements for homeopathic doctors were established by a presidential decree.

In Norway there are no restrictions for homeopathy specifically, except some minor restrictions under the 1936 Act of Quackery (10)
A law for complementary therapies is introduced since 2004. Serious diseases and infectous diseases can only be treated by healthcare personnel.
There have been people practicing with homeopathic remedies since 1880 in Norway. What kind of therapy they offered is not certain, but nevertheless homeopathy appeared in the vocabulary at the end of 19th century. The first book written in Norwegian was published in 1893 and was written by O.M.Ohm with the title ''Praktisk Homøopatisk legehåndbok for hvermand''. Ohm practiced homeopathy in Bergen from about 1887-1900. Before his career as a homeopath he was a captain and sailed among other places to South-America.

Practice of alternative medicine in Saudi Arabia got a boost on Monday with the Council of Ministers approving the setting up of a National Center for Alternative and Complementary Medicine.
The Center will serve as a national referral authority on alternative and complementary medicine (ACM). It will be directly linked to the Minister of Health and it can seek the help of foreign ACM specialists, a Council statement said.
The cabinet, chaired by Crown Prince Sultan, also approved creation of a consultative committee of ACM specialists and representatives of ministries, public institutions and government organizations involved in health affairs, as well as the private sector. The center will lay down the principles, rules, criteria and conditions for practicing ACM and issue licenses. It will also draw up guidelines for documentation of ACM, especially regarding traditional Islamic and Arab medicine.
Alternative medicine commonly includes naturopathy, chiropractic, herbalism, traditional Chinese medicine, Ayurveda, meditation, yoga, biofeedback, hypnosis, bodywork, homeopathy and diet-based therapies.

In Serbia medical doctors, dentists, nurses, midwifes, physiotherapists and pharmacists may practise homeopathy.

In Slovakia, only medical doctors may practise homeopathy.
Under the healing act, passed in October 2007, homeopathy can be practiced in Slovenia by medical doctors who have got training in homeopathy and obtained a license in line with this law. However, a physician practicing homeopathy in fact loses his/her physician's licence issued by the Medical Chamber of Slovenia, preventing him/her from practicing conventional medicine.
First homeopathic medicines are expected to be available in Slovenia in April 2011, as the national Agency for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices approved them on 30 March 2011. The licence holder is the Ljubljana-based company AdriaPharm. Homeopathic medicines will be issued without prescription and are intended for self-treatment.

In South Africa, Homeopathy is regulated by the Allied Health Professions Act, together with the Regulations to the said Act.
Any person wishing to practice Homeopathy in any way whatsover within the boarders of South Africa must be registered with the AHPCSA. Registration is a legal requirement and under South African Law it is a criminal offense to practice homeopathy without registration.
The legal scope of practice of a homeopathic practitioner is very similar to that of a conventional medical practitioner. The scope includes as well the homeopaths comparable to the Naturopathic practitioner
Nowadays, the only training recognised by the AHPCSA is a five year full-time Masters degree in Homoeopathy offered at the University of Johannesburg (Internet: Here) and

The practise of Homeopathy in South Africa requires medical training as prerequisite, either via the medically based homeopathic Masters Degree course (MTech-Hom) or once a medical practitioner is registered for independent practice, by way of the Post Graduate Diploma in Homeopathy offered by the South African Faculty of Homeopathy (Internet: Here)

In Sweden, statutorily healthcare practitioners are prohibited from practising homeopathy, but anyone else may practise. There are few individual exceptions, this is if the patient asks for it, if then there is no risk involved and if all other possible conventional treatments have failed. However, on September 24th, 2011 the Swedish Supreme Administraitive Court ruled that "doctors are allowed to recommend homeopathic cures for patients (Högsta Förvaltnings-domstolen, STockholm dnr. 6634-10)". The accused doctor was fully acquitted from all charges and the former verdicts of the two lower courts were completely removed.

Medical doctors and dentists are allowed to practise homeopathy as well as lay practitioners. Medical doctor's homeopathic qualifcation has to be proved and documented to the FMH, the Swiss Medical Association and regular postgraduate training is required.
Legislation for lay practitioners varies from canton to canton. in 24 out of 26 cantons, it is legal to practise homeopathy.
At two Swiss universities (Bern, Zürich) a chair in Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) has been established, providing familiarisation courses on homeopathy and other CAM modalities in the undergraduate medical curriculum.
In 1/11, the minister of health decided to integrate homeopathic treatment into the national health care system from 2012 onwards for the following 5 years.
The members of the Swiss Homeopathic Association (SVHA) are medical doctors, veterinarians, pharmacists and students. This association is recognized by the Swiss Medical Association FMH and responsible for the homeopathic training programs and diplomas, including homeopathic diplomas for veterinarians and pharmacists. Training includes at minimum 400 hours, in addition 2 years of practical experience is required.

Homeopathic Hospital: In this clinic, serious diseases like cancer and other chronic diseases are treated with classical homeopathy.
In Ukraine, medical doctors may register with a license related to the main speciality and adding a note, stating " with the use of homeopathic method". Homeopathy can not be used in oncology, infectious diseases and psychiatry.
The UAE Ministry of Health (Internet: Here) regulates the issues concerning the homeopathic education. Both, medical doctors as well as lay practitioners are allowed to practice homeopathy, they should pass the exams of the Ministry of Health in advance.
Although homeopathy is not regulated by law in the United Kingdom, the National Health System runs 4 homeopathic hospitals (see below). There are also a number of organisations for non-medically qualified homeopaths, the largest of them is the Society of Homeopaths.
In the United Kingdom some treatment is funded by the National Health Service (NHS), and some health insurance companies will recognise treatment by homeopaths.

Only medical doctors are allowed to study and practice homeopathy in Venezuela. There exists a long standing relationship between Mexico and Venezuela, as in the sixties, Proceso Sánchez Ortega and David Flores Toledo came over from Mexico to teach homeopathy and later, Tomás Paschero from Argentina.
