Clinical information:

Its chief action is on the skin and the mucous membrane and about the joints.
Kali-bi. has been used in syphilis. In secondary and tertiary syphilis "chrome-water" was also remarkably successful.
Exudations from mucous membranes, somewhat like croup, are found in the larynx, trachea and in the rectum. It is not surprising, therefore, that it has proved a very effective remedy in diphtheria. (Kent)
