An 82-year-old man with idiopathic, therapy-resistant reduced platelet count, or Werlhoff Syndrome, came into my clinic with a platelet count of 8000 after having been released from the hospital. His body was covered with purpura hemorrhagica. He also suffered from congestion, angina pectoris and hypertonia. With the administration of Melilotus officinalis, the patient was cured from Werlhoff Syndrome. The period of observation lasted seven years.
