HISTORY - Natrum ars. has been very extensively proved, notably by Imbert Gourbeyre. The principal clinical use of Nat-a. has been in diphtheria, with a dark purple throat, great swelling, much prostration, not much pain. Also used in disorders of the eyes and nose. The irritating arsenic effects preponderate in this remedy. Leukemia. Facilitates the termination of the cold and conserves strength and appetite. (Cartier.)
