The roots are styptic. A poultice of the chewed root has been applied to wounds. A decoction of the grated root has been used as a wash on bleeding wounds, sprains and broken limbs. The washed roots have been rubbed to make a lather and then used to wash sore eyes.

Hyland's Poison Ivy/Oak Tablets are a traditional homeopathic formula for the relief of symptoms after contact with poison ivy or oak. Skin breaks out with red, swollen, intensely itching, burning, watery blisters, sometimes followed by oozing or crusting. Hyland's Poison Ivy/Oak is safe for adults and children and can be used in conjunction with the other medicines.

Indications:
A homeopathic combination for symptomatic treatment after contact with poison ivy or oak. Skin breaks out with red, swollen, intensely itching, burning, watery blisters, sometimes followed by oozing or crusting.

Directions:
Adults: Dissolve 2-3 tablets under tongue every 2 hours as needed, then 4 times per day.

Rhus Toxicodendron 6X HPUS, Croton Tiglium 6X HPUS, Xerophyllum (6X), Lactose (base), Xerophyllum 6X HPUS In a base of Lactose, USP

Warnings:
Do not use if imprinted cap band is broken or missing. If symptoms persist for more than seven days or worsen, contact a licensed health care professional. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a licensed health care professional before using this product. Keep this and all medications out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, contact a poison control center immediately.
